Aldro - Preparatory School

We are an independent day and boarding prep school for boys and girls from September 2021 aged 7-13. The school is in a beautiful and quiet setting in Surrey, yet close to the A3 and only 45 minutes from central London, Heathrow and Gatwick airports.Our aim is to bring out the best in boys. Aldro boys move on at 13+ to a wide range of schools including Charterhouse, Eton, Harrow, Radley, the Royal Grammar School Guildford, Wellington and Winchester. We have an outstanding record of success in winning scholarship awards, both academic and for music, art, sport and all-round abilities.The school's Christian ethos helps to promote a warm and caring environment; and pupils here have opportunities to pursue a huge range of activities outside the classroom from the conventional - such as sport, music, art and drama - to the exciting that many boys sadly cannot enjoy - such as den-making, shooting, rowing, sailing and fishing.
