Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions

Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions (AIHS) is the province's health research and innovation agency. We are a partner with Alberta Health, provincial universities, the health system, industry, health funding and support agencies, and many others. We are a a board-governed, publicly funded corporation whose vision is to transform health and wellbeing through research and innovation. We provide leadership for Alberta’s health research and innovation enterprise by directing, coordinating, reviewing, funding, and supporting research and innovation. Alberta’s Health Research and Innovation Strategy provides the framework for our strategies so that we achieve maximum impact on the health, health system and wellbeing of Albertans. We support people who drive innovation in health through research, discovery, and application. We currently support hundreds of researchers from trainees to senior investigators and fund health research and innovation with more than $100 million annually.
