African Industries Group is involved in various steel products, industrial chemicals and other commodities.
African Industries Group has been operating in Nigeria since 1970’s and is involved in trading and manufacturing of various industrial products. The group was founded by Mr. P.K.Gupta and is still promoted and managed by the Gupta family, supported by a wide and growing range of professional managers and consultants, selected worldwide among the best available sources.
On the trading side the Group is continuously expanding and ranging from steel products and industrial chemicals to other basic commodities. In parallel, in the last decade.
The installed capacities of these plants are as follows: Steel 180,000 metric tonnes per annum (550,000 metric tonnes per annum by mid 2011) Sodium Silicate (solid equivalent) 24,000 metric tonnes per annum Glass 24,000 metric tonnes per annum Aluminium Sulphate 36,000 metric tonnes per annum Sulphuric Acid 44,000 metric tonnes per annum High Alumina Refractory Bricks 6000 metric tonnes per annum
