Adobe Social (AS) is a component of the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of applications by Adobe Systems. As a comprehensive solution, it manages social content and campaigns while building stronger connections through data-driven content. It also deals with relevant posts, insightful conversations, measurable results, and social activities connected to business. Adobe Social was introduced to the public on October 24, 2012 together with five other applications in the Marketing Cloud collection: Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Media Optimizer, and Adobe Campaign. Following an exploratory survey in collaboration with the UK magazine The Guardian,[6] Adobe Social was enabled in November 2013 with mobile features and made available on smartphones and other mobile devices. With its main component called ContextOptional, Adobe Social helps teams create content tailored to their audience. It makes predictions about engagement and recommendations using sentiment analysis and predictive text mining algorithms.
