Achievement Centers for Children & Families

The Achievement Centers has a long history of providing childcare and academic opportunities to low-income children in southern Palm Beach County. Our services meet critical needs: affordable toddler, preschool, afterschool and summer programs to families living below the poverty line.We serve nearly 1,000 children, ages 1 to 18, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7AM to 7PM on three campuses. 98% of the children qualify for free or reduced school lunch, 96% of the children are minority, and nearly half live in non-English speaking households. Our programs improve school readiness, combat food insecurity, close the achievement gap, prevent the summer slide, and decrease high school dropout rates.Our Family Strengthening Program offers parents health and wellness workshops, promoting physical health, financial literacy and life style management. Since 1969, the Achievement Centers has assisted thousands of families break the cycle of poverty and give back to our community.
