Welcome to the official linkedin of Accounting Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. We are a developing Accounting Department in Indonesia which has numerous achievements to be proud of. Until now, the alma maters of Accounting Department have reached more than 5000 people and spread in various areas in Indonesia and they hold important positions in a range of professions.Some alumnae of Accounting Department of UMY have successfully enhanced themselves to be lecturers in some universities in Indonesia. The alumnae of Accounting Department of UMY have also proudly become part of various companies and national large industries in Indonesia. Furthermore, there are many alumnae of Accounting Department who work in government agencies such as Finance and Development Supervisory Board (BPKP), Ministry of Finance, and various other ministries. As accountants, some alumnae of Accounting Department of UMY also work in the Big Four Accounting Firms in the world.Accounting Department of UMY is an Accounting Department which focuses on financial accounting, management accounting, sharia accounting, public sector accounting with information technology development as the foundation. Therefore, at this moment, Accounting Department of UMY has cooperated with some universities and Professors from abroad, such as Malaysia, Turkey, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and some other foreign universities which are being taken into consideration at the present. Along with the institution development that we design, we believe that in 2025 Accounting Department will be taken into account in ASEAN level.It is expected that with the academic involvements that we develop, Accounting Department of UMY can contribute to the development of better human resources in Indonesia.
