Zurich International School

Zurich International School (ZIS) was formed in 2001 through the merger of the American International School of Zurich (AISZ), founded in 1963, and the International Primary School of Zurich (IPSZ), founded in 1970. ZIS is a co-educational international day school in the Zurich area for students aged 3 to 18 and is fully accredited by both the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is an IB World School. Over 1500 students from more than 50 countries attend one of the school's four campuses (Early Childhood Center in Kilchberg, Lower School in Wädenswil, Middle School in Kilchberg and Upper School in Adliswil). In addition, the school provides courses and learning support services which address the needs of a student body diverse in educational background and ability. More than 90% of the graduating seniors enter universities and institutions of higher learning worldwide.
