Zenescope Entertainment, founded in 2005 by Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco, is one of the most recognized independent comic book and graphic novel publishers in the world. Zenescope currently boasts the largest female-driven shared universe in comic books and focuses on edgy and non-traditional brand of story-telling that set is apart from the pack. The company has expanded rapidly and has moved into custom publishing, licensing, and the film industry forming partnerships with Discovery Channel, History Channel, CBS Consumer Products, Scholastic, and several others. Zenescope has also formed an all ages imprint, Silver Dragon books, with a mix of licensed titles from Discovery Channel and History Channel.
