About Youth International Summit Model UN
YISMUN is a virtual international organization which is entirely student-led! We host monthly Model United Nations conferences open to middle school, high school, and university students from around the world, in addition to workshops and speaker event focused on building global understanding and awareness among Gen Z students.
YISMUN is led by an incredibly diverse, accomplished group of students from the US, Nigeria, India, Brazil, Indonesia, the UK, Morocco, Malaysia, and more. We just finished our 2nd conference in July, and it was an absolutely amazing experience: we had 351 delegate registrations from 27 countries, who debated in 9 committees led by chairs from around the world.
There is no registration fee for the YISMUN Conference: instead, we offer a pay-what-you-will donation to the UNICEF Save the Children fund for Yemen. In order to accommodate global time zones, this is a 2-day conference held over a Zoom platform, for a 3-hr session each day.
