Youth Employment UK is the leading youth employment expert in the UK.


We have more than 250,000 page views a month on our website, many of which are by young people who are 14-24, who we serve with free skills and careers support. In addition we have over 450 employers, providers and Youth Friendly Employer Community Members; who we support with best practice, policy development, advice and guidance, training and networking opportunities so that they can support more young people into employment.

We work closely with government departments including DfE, DWP, DCMS and are the Secretariat to the APPG for Youth Employment.

Youth Employment UK is home to the Youth Friendly Employer Award, a national kitemark that recognises youth friendly employers. If you are supporting young people with inspiration, experience or employment opportunities you could qualify for the award.

To give young people a voice and empower them to be more prepared for the world of work
To help organisations be better equipped to support young people and adopt Youth Friendly Principles
To ensure that government policy is geared towards the real needs of young people.
