YCAB Foundation

YCAB Foundation (1999) is the founding and flagship organization in the YCAB Social Enterprise Group, which bases its operations on a mutually reinforcing and financially sustainable social change model. Our mission is to improve welfare through education and innovative financing. YCAB aims to vitalize underprivileged youths to become self-reliant through economic empowerment and education. YCAB has now also evolved into a social enterprise group with several business units. Including YCAB Ventures, which provides ultra-microcredit to economically challenged mothers on condition that during the loan period, the children of these mothers are prohibited from dropping out of school. This evolution makes YCAB able to allocate 100 percents of public donations into the social programs. Most strategically to 26 Rumah Belajar (Learning Centre) located in 11 provinces in Indonesia which are dedicated to broaden education access for youths from economically challenged family. After two decades of existence, YCAB has reached around 3.5 million young people in Indonesia and 158,013 clients who are small business owners. In 2019, YCAB ranked 35th on the Top 100 best NGOs in the world by NGO Advisor. By 2020, YCAB aims to reach five million youths in ten countries in Southeast Asia and raise US$50Mn in social investment funds.
