World Cancer Research Fund leads and unifies a network of cancer charities with a global reach, dedicated to the prevention of cancer through a healthy diet, reaching and maintaining a healthy weight, and being more physically active. We fund high quality scientific research into cancer prevention and work with leading research scientists, policy makers and health professionals to apply it in practical ways to empower people all over the world to reduce their cancer risk and live healthier lives. The World Cancer Research Fund network: - Funds research on the relationship of nutrition, physical activity and weight management to cancer risk. - Interprets the accumulated scientific literature in the field through our Continuous Update Project (CUP) which is the world's largest source of scientific research on cancer prevention and survivorship through diet, weight and physical activity - Empowers people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their risk of developing cancer.
