Velocity Sourcing Group was founded in 2007 by two great friends that are very passionate about procurement. After spending over ten years in various consulting roles for small and big firms, Grant and his friend Maulik decided to introduce a better way of helping companies achieve greater procurement success. The Velocity business started out as an extension of what Maulik and Grant already were accustomed to, management consulting. In late 2015 they found that many mid-market companies were not getting the full advantage of highly effective procurement operations as were some of the largest companies. So, Velocity introduced procurement managed services for the mid-market customer. For years, Velocity has been providing reliable consulting services to mid-sized and fortune-sized businesses, now we have extended our services to amplifying procurement operations in a managed services capacity. Velocity continues to lead client engagements in a management consulting capacity in the areas of Strategic Sourcing, P2P Technology Implementation, Change Management and Supply Chain Assessments. With the introduction of managed services our clients now enjoy services in three distinct areas: Spend Analytics, P2P & Sourcing and Procurement Technology Help-Desk.
