With almost 50 years of continuous service throughout the world, working for all of the major Operators and Construction/Installation Contractors, ULO has established and enviable and unparalleled record of achievement in the delivery of grouting projects and products.

ULO entered the offshore industry in The North Sea during the 1970’s providing pipeline free-span correction and structural pile grouting services and in 1978 undertook the underbase grouting at Ninian Central Platform one of the first North Sea concrete structures. In 1979 successfully introduced the use of geotextile ‘grout bags’ for pipeline stabilisation, which has since been developed to permit ROV installation & grouting, and at water depths of +1,000m. Subsequently ULO has been involved in numerous and challenging projects worldwide including compliant towers, deep water platforms, gravity base structures, subsea templates, suction buckets, etc. using both pressure balanced and displacement grouting techniques and providing a range of specialised products from very low to very high strength grouts, which are delivered in bulk and mixed using ULO well-proven equipment. More recently ULO have successfully delivered to the renewables offshore industry the experience and knowledge gained from oil & gas.
