About The Leacock Foundation
Founded in 2002 by Peter Oliver of Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants the Leacock Foundation is a registered Canadian charity based in Toronto with a philanthropic vision directed at tackling social problems. Our mission is to inspire youth, in Canada and South Africa, to overcome poverty, unlock their potential and contribute to their communities. We achieve this through a connected platform of literacy and leadership. Through a series of academic interventions we seek to inspire young people to overcome barriers, unlock their potential and contribute to their communities.
