Mission: The Chronicle Newspaper LLC. aims to provide news and information to the African American community from an African American perspective while supporting diversity and inclusion. Our History: The Chronicle Newspaper is a newspaper headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, serving the African American community. Since the start of The Chronicle Newspaper Inc. in May of 1986, we have reached hundreds of African Americans in Mid-Michigan. Since our inception we have gained a diverse audience outside of African American circles and expanded our reach to the Northwestern Indiana community. Our Focus: The main purpose of the Chronicle Newspaper is to provide news and information for African Americans while supporting diversity and inclusion and uplifting communities as a whole. Distribution: The Chronicle Newspaper is published twice monthly. It is a free publication with circulation of more than 6,000 copies per issue. The Chronicle is distributed throughout Mid-Michigan and Northwestern Indiana and can be found in municipal buildings, schools, local businesses, churches, and community centers. Our readers receive relevant content on a local, state, national and international level. The news found within the newspaper directly and indirectly impacts readers’ daily lives. Our top priority is to enhance the awareness of African American issues.
