It is the mission of The Arc of Delaware County to advocate for the civil rights, social inclusion and self-determination of persons with developmental disabilities. Together with our network of members and community partners, we provide advocacy services for individuals and families, connect people with resources, improve systems of support & services, promote inclusive community practices and influence public policy. The Arc of Delaware County has been advocating for people with intellectutal and developmental disabilities (i/dd) since 1956. Delaware County's premier advocacy agency, The Arc advocates for people in many ways, including personal advocacy efforts, legislative advocacy, educational advocacy, systemic and criminal justice advocacy - working to improve the lives of those we serve
