Founded in 1962, the American School of Barcelona is a private, coeducational school positioned as a leading center of international education in Europe. Located in Esplugues de Llobregat (Barcelona), the school currently has 869 students that come from more than 55 different countries, offering a world-class education to students from families with an international mind, both foreigners and locals. The American School of Barcelona offers educational programs including grades from the Early Childhood Center, to Elementary School and Secondary School, with Middle School and High School. The American School of Barcelona as the recognition from the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), having been the first international school in Barcelona to offer this program in English.
