TechGirlz

TechGirlz is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to reducing and ultimately eliminating - the gender gap in technology occupations. We develop fun and educational hands-on workshops, called TechShopz, and an annual entrepreneurial summer camp aimed to get middle-school age girls interested in different kinds of technology and demonstrate the varied options of careers in technology. We enable them to interact with professionals who have carved out successful careers in technology fields and empower them to be future technology leaders. TechShopz in a Box, a TechGirlz product, allows organizations, groups, and individuals to be powered by TechGirlz methodology, operations and materials. Our programs and materials are free to all who want to join our mission. TechGirlz is building a community for women with like interest; Middle school girls are meeting other girls with technology interest, Volunteers are sharing their skills, networking, making new friends, and finding new jobs
