After nearly 25 years of strategic development and urban planning, the South Bank precinct is almost complete, with only the Southpoint site remaining for development. The South Bank Corporation Act 1989 states that the Corporation’s management responsibilities would transfer back to Brisbane City Council once development was substantially complete within the South Bank precinct.
