Daniel Kay is a distinguished vocal performer. His true tenor voice has a unique contemporary sound with an extensive range (over 3 octaves). Daniel has dedicated 10 years of his adult life to the study, training and honing of his natural talent to at this time have a refined and mature voice that is capable of approaching a range of contemporary styles, from Music Theatre to Rock Opera and Pop. Daniel has an ability to make the most challenging pieces look easy through well established technique and extensive vocal capacity and style. He is well suited to a range of music styles, and especially connects with adult contemporary material, power ballads and rock. Daniel Kay has an impressive list of performance credits including guest vocal appearances on Channel Ten's Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton, BV's for both Michael Bolten and Barry Manilow, and appearances as feature artist at major corporate and private functions including the Premier of Queensland's Export Awards and the 2004 Golden Casket Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols. At the opening night of the "Australian Voice Symposium 2000" and the "AVA Symposium Dinner 2002", Daniel Kay enthralled these most discerning of audiences with his exciting Tenor voice and natural stage presence. Most recently Daniel sang a duet with Australia's premier diva, Marina Prior, for the 2005 Scriputure Union's Frontline Appeal.
