Senate House Chambers

The seventeen founding members represent Northampton’s largest set of barristers with a breadth of experience spanning many decades. Senate House Chambers provides specialist legal representation and advice in family, crime, immigration and civil law. Its members have established practices across the Midlands and South of England and welcome instructions from solicitors and lay clients. Barristers at Senate House Chambers undertake affordable privately funded work, legal aid work, and public access instructions (i.e. direct instruction without a solicitor). The team includes members that sit as Deputy District Judges alongside more recently qualified barristers. This provides clients with a choice of experienced practitioners and ensures members can provide expertise from the Bench to the Bar.
