Scientists In School

Scientists in School is a leading science outreach charity dedicated to sparking children's interest in science, technology and the environment through hands-on discovery. Our mission is to ignite scientific curiosity in children so that they: question intelligently, learn through discovery, connect scientific knowledge to their world, and consider a career in science. Each year, Scientists in School presents over 25,040 half day workshops in classrooms throughout Ontario and in Alberta, reaching more than 703,000 elementary students and countless others through community workshops and events. Scientists in School's nearly 400 presenters are trained science professionals who bring unmatched passion and expertise to their communities. Scientists in School unites the science, education and business communities in the common goal of raising science literacy and encouraging our future innovators.
