Prathap Foundation for Education & Training was established in 1976 by Dr. G.P.C.Nayar, with the objective of setting high standards in professional education. The foundation established The School of Communication and Management Studies in 1992 which was later renamed as SCMS Cochin School of Business. SCMS COCHIN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS is an ISO certified institution for Quality Management teaching which provides a learning environment that challenges students and supports them in achieving their educational and professional goals. The PGDM programme is approved by AICTE and accredited internationally by ACBSP – USA and nationally by NBA – National Board of Accreditation and has an intake capacity of 180 students for the mainstream PGDM course.
