Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia

RMHC is an independent, non-profit organisation, that helps seriously ill children and their families when they need it most. We were founded in memory of McDonald's creator, Ray Kroc, who believed in charitable works as a way of putting something back into the community. McDonald's Australia pays all administration and management costs of RMHC and are a generous donor, the rest of the essential funds we require we raise ourselves. RMHC System has 16 Ronald McDonald Houses that have, since 1981, collectively provided over 200,000 families with over 2.7M bed nights and 1 in 8 Australian's have been helped or know someone who has used one of our programs. We also have other essential programs that help seriously ill children and their families when they need it most, including: The Ronald McDonald Learning Program in every state & territory; 15 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms; five Ronald McDonald Family Retreats; and a Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
