About Rochdale Development Agency (RDA): Our mission is to make Rochdale borough a more prosperous and vibrant place by encouraging new economic investment and physical development. Established in 1993 by Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council, the RDA was set up as a not-for-profit company to take a lead role in driving regeneration and development within the borough. Whilst the RDA has strong links with the commercial sector, it maintains close links with its local council and has appointed specific representatives on its board.
