Today the strength of Rhenus Logistics Italy is to be part of a large international group based in Germany without forgetting its origins, the know-how acquired over many years of activity. In 1872 Gottardo Ruffoni was operating in the field of international shipments with a dense network of branches at national level and correspondents at European/international level and in 1950 Rondine was a pioneer company in the transport sector, mainly between Italy and Eastern countries, so much so that it had become the exclusive "correspondent" of the government agencies responsible for shipments in most Eastern countries. In 2000 the two companies Gottardo Ruffoni and Rondine merged and gave birth to Gottardo Ruffoni Rondine Spedizioni Internazionali S.p.A. which is characterized and highlighted in the market as the coordinator of shipping activities throughout Europe thanks to the coverage of the territory with branches in strategic positions, more than ten years of experience and focusing its corporate mission to the attention and quality of service offered, to the reduction of delivery times and costs. In 2004 La Gottardo Ruffoni Rondine Spedizioni Internazionali became part of the IHG Group with the aim of strengthening its structure. In 2006 the company is entirely acquired by the Rhenus Group and operates in Italy as Rhenus Logistics with registered office in Buccinasco. Since February 2019 the company Rhenus Logistics Italia has increased its presence in the Italian market with the acquisition of the Cesped Group.
