Revigres

Revigrés is renowned in the world of ceramics, specialising in the production of ceramic flooring and tiling. Formed in 1977 by a group of businessmen, for its first 30 years Revigrés relied on the chairmanship and drive of its founder: Adolfo Roque (1934-2008). The current Management Board comprises Paula Roque, Augusto Gonçalves and Paulo Conceição. Revigrés has been recognised by the awarding of various prizes with the following being worthy of special mention: • Design Europe Management Award – Revigrés is the only company in the ceramics sector at European level to be distinguished by an honourable mention; • A company distinguished by the Best Practices in Research and Innovation Project in partnership with Aveiro University in the European Enterprise Awards; • Efficient Company in the Energy Efficiency Awards; • “Alfa de Oro” award in Spain – being the only foreign company to receive this distinction from the Spanish Ceramics and Glass Society. Recognised nationwide and worldwide, Revigrés can be found in various continents with numerous emblematic projects. Revigrés has a quadruple certification of its integrated management systems in terms of the following standards: Quality; Environment; Social Accountability; Research; Development and Innovation. In 2011, Revigrés became the first and only company in the ceramics sector to be certified by the Social Responsibility Management System, in accordance with NP 4469-1:2008. In 1995, Revigrés became the first company in the wall and floor ceramic tiles to be certified by the Quality Management System.
Revigrés has also been certified by the Environmental Management System in accordance with standard NP EN ISO 14001:2004. Revigrés is the only Portuguese company in the ceramics sector certified by the Innovation, Development and Research Management System (according to the NP 4457:2007 standard).
