Republic ITS was acquired by Siemens Industry, Inc 2010. Siemens is a world-wide, multi-discipline consulting and manufacturing company with over 450,000 employees, founded in 1847. Our traffic signal design, build, and maintenance capability resides in the Road and City Mobility Department (RCM) of the Mobility and Logistics Division. This business unit offers design, installation, and maintenance services to our clients for nearly any highway electrical system. Siemens is the largest provider of traffic signal and street lighting maintenance services in the United States. We specialize in the engineering, maintenance, repair, construction, and ongoing operation of traffic signals, streetlights, and ITS systems including video detection cameras, digital cellular technology upgrades, call boxes, spread spectrum radio, side fired radar, CMS/DMS signs, weigh-in motion stations, ATMS, and energy efficiency upgrades.
