About Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity
Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity exists to support the patients of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
With generous support from individuals and companies, we are able to save more lives, develop new treatments and fund state of the art equipment to support our exceptional patients and their families, as well as the staff who care for them. What's more, we rely entirely on donations in order to improve patient care at the hospital. We do this by funding research, equipment and facilities that go above and beyond what NHS core funding alone can provide.
The charity also supports the UK’s military patients who are treated at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine and offers free accommodation at Fisher House, a 'home away from home' for military patients and their families.
