Project Success

Project SUCCESS motivates and inspires young people to dream about their futures and helps them take steps to get there. We give them the tools they need to set and achieve their goals through in-classroom goal-setting workshops, theater experiences, and enrichment activities. We are a youth development organization working with middle and high school students to help them establish short and long term goals and create plans for meaningful futures. 8 in 10 high school students report that Project SUCCESS helps them create a plan for after graduation. We support each student in every partnering school, monthly for up to seven years, in the Language Arts classroom during the school day as well as after school, evenings, weekends and summers, building deep and trusting relationships with students and families. This year, we are working with nearly 12,000 students in 6th through 12th grade in 15 Minneapolis public schools. Over our 23 year history, Project SUCCESS has developed strong and enduring partnerships with schools, districts, theaters, funders, and the community, founded on high integrity, strong programming, and a proven, age-based curriculum. Our work is led by a passion for young people. We are here first and foremost because we believe in young people and the power they have to create successful happy lives.
