MyLocalPitch.com was set up by passionate sports fans who have struggled over the years to find places to play sport across London. The site allows sports players to find out where their closest sports facilities are and then instantly book online at no extra cost. Sports venues can list on the site to make it easier to find new users. MyLocalPitch offer a simple online enquiry system allowing customers to easily get in contact for single or block bookings, completely free of charge. MyLocalPitch launched an app in November 2015 to cater for the on-the-go audience. It was built for iOS 9 and uses geo-location to search and book your nearest sports venues in London. In October last year the 'Outstanding London Sports Venue Award' came to existence to recognise venues that excel in providing quality pitches, amenities and working to build strong community environments.
