About Platinum Federal Credit Union

Platinum Federal Credit Union (PFCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. When you join the credit union, you become a shareholder (or an owner) of a very unique financial institution. Earnings above the required reserves are returned to you, in the form of lower interest rates on loans and competitive dividends on savings.

Who We Are:
Platinum Federal Credit Union was founded in December 1999 to serve the financial needs of Shia Ismaili Community Members. Today, with over 11,000 members and assets in excess of $250 million, we are among the fastest growing credit unions.

Our mission is to provide convenient sources of credit and other financial services to allow our members to accomplish their financial goals and we stand by that commitment every day by offering today's sophisticated services without losing sight of our purpose.

We vastly differ from regular banks because our financial cooperative is owned by our members. All profits are reinvested in our members by improving our products and services and by offering low cost loans and high rate of return to our members and their families.
