In 1982 we started with a small group of dedicated parents, physicians, and community partners, all with one common goal-saving children's lives. Since then, PCRF has become a respected international organization, has raised over $53 million in its history and for the second consecutive year has established a new high watermark for both fundraising revenue and, more importantly, research grants awarded. All of this hard work has been accomplished with a small, but exceptionally dedicated staff and highly engaged Board of Directors. Charity Navigator has recognized PCRF with a 4-star rating, the highest designation for the Foundation's adherence to good governance, transparency, and "consistent execution against its mission in a fiscally responsible way."
