Since 1950 Orana has played a vital role in supporting South Australians living with disability. We provide people with disability the opportunity to live and work within their local community, fulfil their dreams and become valued and productive community members. We currently provide employment, accommodation, life skills support and respite services to over 650 South Australians in both metropolitan and regional locations and would like to see this number grow even further as time moves forward. Our vision is to be acclaimed for excellence in services to people with disability. Our mission is to be a caring, capable and viable organisation providing a range of services to meet the needs of people with disability in our community. To achieve this we work as a team towards our goals and believe in and practise equity for all clients and staff. We are responsible, open and receptive to new ideas, seek information and encourage and support individual initiative. We are dynamic; we are flexible, rewarding and always improving our skills. And we are intelligent; we think outside the square, value and support creativity and practise integrity and honesty.
