ORLEN Upstream Canada is a part of PKN ORLEN SA (orlen.pl), one of the largest energy conglomerates in Central and Eastern Europe and the largest one in Poland (in total nearly 20 000 employees in the Group). ORLEN Upstream, a parent company of ORLEN Upstream Canada, manages a global portfolio of exploration and production hydrocarbon assets in and outside Poland. ORLEN Upstream Canada is an oil and natural gas company in Canada, with a particular focus on the assets in Alberta. ORLEN Upstream Canada has a highly motivated team of 50 experts, steadily growing the Company’s production and reserves through a combination of production and exploration projects along with new strategic acquisitions. ORLEN Upstream Canada’s goal is to build a significant position on the Canadian E&P market. At the end of 2016 ORLEN Upstream Canada’s production rate was at approximately 14 000 BOE/D, and 2P reserves amounting to 103 MMBOE.
