Norfolk And Suffolk Probation Trust

Probation Services were were formed as Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPB) and Trusts by virtue of the Offender Management Act 2007 s.5 'Power to Establish Probation Trusts'. Trusts, as NDPB's, were structured under the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) - an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Justice. Several years later, Probation Trusts were disbanded by virtue of the Offender Management Act 2007 (Dissolution of Probation Trusts) Order 2014.
