Newcells Biotech are experts in the production of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and their differentiation into a wide range of reliable and reproducible cell and tissue types. Our focus is to provide customers engaged in drug discovery, pre-clinical development and disease mechanism investigation, with the best quality cells and services. We have the capability to be the complete development and outsource partner for biotechnology, pharmaceutical and academic teams using iPSCs. We can source patient material, produce iPSC clones from skin, blood or hair samples, offer a bio-banking and expansion service along with the development expertise and capacity to produce a wide range of differentiated cell types and tissues. Our unique experienced team is at the heart of one of the largest iPSC reprogramming centres in Europe and have produced over 700 iPSC clones. Using the non-integrating Sendai virus Cytotune system we provide our customers a low risk, speedier and more cost-effective option for their iPSC projects. Our in-house team have developed protocols to produce a wide range of cell types including cardiomyocytes, cortical and DOPA neurons, haematopoietic progenitors and cells of the immune system, retinal pigmented epithelia and cells of the kidney. Our scientific co-founders are leading academics in stem cell biology and differentiation and the company is based close to one of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK giving us access to a wide range of clinical expertise and analytical facilities.
