About Nashville Sports Council

The mission of the Nashville Sports Council is to positively impact the economy and quality of life of the Greater Nashville Area by attracting and promoting professional and amateur sporting events.

The Nashville Sports Council is a private, 501 (c)6 not-for-profit, membership based organization that was established in 1992 to serve as the “quarterback” behind developing Nashville’s sports landscape.

Our members are the backbone of our organization and are pivotal in our efforts to create a direct, positive impact on the City of Nashville by recruiting and hosting major sporting events that generate mass amounts of visitor spending and bolster Nashville’s image on a national and international stage. In addition to supporting our cause, members of the Nashville Sports Council receive exclusive access, ticket opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and unique ways to engage with the events we host. There are currently hundreds of individual and corporate member supporters throughout Nashville and the surrounding communities.
