MultiRio - Empresa Municipal de Multimeios da Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro - focuses on the development of educational and cultural actions, targeting language and media research, in line with Rio de Janeiro's public education project. MultiRio takes an unprecedented position by placing digital and interactive media, video, animation, television, radio, and print production at education's service, aiming the building of a new society. Education, Culture and Citizenship are basic values that guide MultiRio actions, a company from the city to the city, and remarking how important the City and Education relationship is in the building process of knowledge, citizenship and, ultimately, a new society.
