Mount Gibson Iron Limited is a leading mid-cap Australian iron ore producer and exporter, based in Perth, Western Australia. The company owns and operates two high grade hematite iron ore mines in Western Australia: Koolan Island in the Kimberley; and Extension Hill mines in the Mid West region; and owns strategic export facilities at the Mid West port of Geraldton. Most of Mount Gibson’s production is sold to China under long term offtake contracts with longstanding customers. The company plans to utilise its robust balance sheet, strong cash reserves and cash-flows, established operational record and experienced management to grow in scale as a long term supplier to the Asian steel sector.
