Mission Rabies – animal welfare for human welfare – is taking up the global fight against dog bite transmitted rabies. The campaign launched in September 2013 vaccinating more than 60,000 Indian street dogs in 30 days. To date, Mission Rabies have vaccinated more than 1 million dogs against this vicious disease and educated over 2 million children about how to behave around dogs and the dangers of rabies.
Mission Rabies is an international organization with its HQ in the UK. A registered charity in the UK (Reg. no.: 1162293) and a 501(c)(3) organization in the US, Mission Rabies is supported by WVS, Dogs Trust as well as many other sponsors and international NGOs.
Currently Mission Rabies has projects in India, Malawi, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Uganda.
Our aim is to try to help as many animals as possible, as well as the people that often depend on them.
