El proyecto minero Tres Valles está conformado por dos minas: Papomono (mina subterránea) y Don Gabriel (mina rajo abierto), ambas localizadas en la quebrada de Manquehua en el valle de Chalinga. Su planta de procesamiento tiene una capacidad nominal de 5.400 toneladas por día (tpd) de mineral, y consiste en una operación de lixiviación de cobre que cuenta con plantas de chancado y aglomeración, pilas de lixiviación y piscinas, además Planta SX-EW. Las instalaciones se diseñaron para producir hasta 18.500 toneladas por año (tpa) de cátodos de cobre finos. ___________________________________________________________________________________ The Minera Tres Valles project consists of two mines: the Papomono underground mine and the Don Gabriel open pit mine, both located in the Manquehua gorge of the Chalinga Valley. The on-site processing plant has a nominal capacity of 5,400 tonnes per day (tpd) of ore. This plant consists of a rock crushing and agglomeration plant, leaching pads and pools, plus the Solvent Extraction Electrowinning plant. The facility is designed to produce up to 18,500 tonnes per annum (tpa) of high-grade copper cathodes.
