Meridian was founded in 2005 and is a specialist private client law firm based in the Midlands. With a team of over thirty, we are one of the largest private client practices in the region. Our highly experienced team consists of a mix of solicitors and tax specialists. This breadth and depth of experience, and our ability to bring this together for the benefit our clients, is what sets us apart from other private client teams. Meridian is committed to developing long term relationships with clients. Fundamental to this is taking the time to understand the needs of our clients. Once those needs are understood, our aim is to offer clear, practical advice in what is often a complex area of law. To meet the needs of our clients, our partner led service will often bring together the expertise of a number of specialists within the team in one seamless service. This could, for example, range from preparing documents such as wills and powers of attorney, to providing detailed legal or tax advice on a specific issue, and dealing with the annual tax compliance process. Our specialised and experienced trust and probate disputes team strive to bring a friendly but objective and pragmatic approach to what can often be difficult circumstances. We always aim to provide value for money and charge for our work in a transparent way. Meridian works very closely with other advisors in various areas of law, accountancy and investment management. Sometimes this is simply liaison with other advisors acting together for the benefit of mutual clients. We are, however, often engaged by other advisors to provide them with support in dealing with complex legal or tax issues arising in relation to their own clients. We are very happy to do this and to ensure that we enhance rather than disturb existing client relationships.
