Mandatum Asset Management Ltd (MAM) is the asset management arm of Sampo Group, a significant insurance group in the Nordics. As a part of Sampo Group, we leverage its investment heritage, expertise and broad resources as one of the most successful institutional investors in the Nordics to provide investment solutions and products to our clients.

MAM manages €29 billion in client and balance sheet assets and has a team of 120 professionals, including investment professionals with deep expertise across asset classes and experienced risk management and operations professionals. We offer discretionary and consultative asset management and manage a variety of investment products within our core areas of credit, alternatives and equity selection. Our clients include pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, family offices, UHNW investors and other financial institutions across the Nordics and Central Europe.

Our products are tightly linked to our own way of investing, and we only offer products where we see opportunities ourselves. We also use our own products in Sampo Group's balance sheet investments, bringing economies of scale and an alignment of interests with our clients.

The firm was formed in 2021 by combining the investment organisations of Sampo plc and Mandatum Life Group. MAM and its sister company Mandatum Life are subsidiaries of Mandatum Holding Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sampo plc.
