We have 30 years' experience providing training and support for young people and the professionals who work with them. The young people we work with may have experienced care, prison, gangs or may not be in mainstream education. We know that a young person who has learned to manage conflict creatively and with confidence is better equipped to persevere when faced with the challenges life throws at them.
In the same way that badly managed conflict can become destructive for young people, organisations pay a big price when conflict gets out of hand or is suppressed. Conflict is inevitable, we all face it in our lives. However, great leaders and teams see that managing conflict well can enhance creativity, ideas generation and staff retention.
We are experts in the creative management of conflict and have worked with organisations in the criminal justice, corporate, social and education sectors. We support people to become skilled at managing conflict, and able to embrace it as a positive and constructive force
Through exercises and group discussion, participants are encouraged to recognise and develop their existing skills and draw on their own experiences to re-shape their responses to conflict. We engage participants through games, role playing and exercises that lower defences, build trust, and encourage long-term memory formation and embedded learning. It's a refreshing break from standard training practices and leaves a lasting positive impression on participants.
Our social enterprise offers bespoke training programmes for organisations, which generates vital income that allows us to support more young people. By purchasing our training you will be contributing to this life changing work. Our preferred approach is to work with you to design and tailor training to your needs.
