Lateral is an event management company founded in 1996, head-quartered in Sydney with staff located in Melbourne, Perth and Auckland. Lateral focuses on providing extraordinary event experiences in a range of genres. PUBLIC EVENTS Over the past few years many globally renowned personalities have accepted Lateral's invitation to tour Australia for a series of exclusive public and corporate events. These personalities include Sir David Attenborough, Prof Brian Cox, Michael Palin, Heston Blumenthal, Bill Bryson and Neil Oliverand astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield. Later this year Cycling legends Phil Liggett and Jen Voigt will tour Australia with Lateral. UP-SCALE CORPORATE EVENTS Lateral is the event management company of record for a number of blue chip corporations, creating and delivering unique up-scale customer events that are specially designed for enhancing a corporation’s relationship with its most important customers. MAJOR EVENTS - TOUR DE FRANCE In July 2015 Lateral signed a tripartite Agreement with the Tour de France and SBS TV to bring Le Tour de France to Australia. L’Étape Australia by Tour de France will be staged in the NSW Snowy Mountains from December 2016 onwards, providing an opportunity for amateur riders to compete under professional Tour de France conditions and vie for the highly prestigious Yellow Tour de France jersey.
