Laerdal Medical is a world-leading provider of educational products for lifesaving and emergency medical care. The Copenhagen office, Laerdal Copenhagen, focuses on software development and we primarily design eSimulators, each simulating different patients and medical conditions as realistically as possible. The newest scientific models are incorporated into serious games with the purpose of evaluating the learners' diagnostic skills. The challenge is to deliver immersive user experiences, so we can train and test our learner's skills at tackling real-life scenarios in a fun and engaging way. More than 800.000 healthcare providers use our eSimulations each year. We constantly challenge the way education is delivered through new platforms and new technologies and are always on the lookout for new innovative solutions. The team consists of 80-some software engineers, designers, 3D-artists, usability experts, medical doctors and content specialists – and we are located in an open office in an old storage building on Islands Brygge in the heart of Copenhagen.
