When the seven Jacuzzi brothers immigrated to the United States, they had no idea that a pump they designed for orchards would revolutionise hydrotherapy in the home. While the family’s critical need to change the life of a child triggered this therapeutic invention, a desire for wellness pioneered an industry. When 15-month-old Ken Jacuzzi was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and frequent hospital trips for hydrotherapy treatments began to take a toll on his child, Candido Jacuzzi redesigned the agricultural pump into what is now known as the pioneering J-300™ hydromassage pump. Overwhelming demand for this pump led to the founding of Jacuzzi® in 1956 and as the first company to highly-engineer jets, our name has become synonymous with jetted hydrotherapy, well-being and performance. With a foundation in heath and wellness and a dedication to research and innovation, Jacuzzi® continues to develop products that improve the lives of both high-performance athletes and everyday people with a range of domestic and commercial hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, steam showers and baths.
