IFEX

IFEX is a dynamic and diverse network of over 100 non-governmental organisations worldwide that defend and promote the right to freedom of expression and information. Our vision is one where everyone is free to exercise these rights without fear, and is able to access, generate, and share ideas and information any way they choose. We are global - and local. No other organisation brings together such a range of international and local free expression groups, enhancing international understanding of the issues and creating opportunities for advocacy work. The Secretariat of the IFEX network is based in Toronto, Canada.
